House for an Art Lover, Glasgow

We returned to the elegant surroundings of House for an Art Lover for our AGM and networking event, where we were joined by our guest speaker, distinguished business woman Amanda McMillan OBE, who was Chief Executive of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton (AGS) Airports Limited at the time.
Amanda shared some of her career highlights from her role where she was responsible for leading and developing a fast-paced, demanding, high-profile business that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and supports over 8,200 jobs. Amanda is undoubtedly one of Scotland's leading business women with an enviable multi-sector career, both in the role of Managing Director of Glasgow Airport (the first female in this role) and from her earlier experience of working with multinational drinks brand Diageo and global accountancy firm KPMG. It was fascinating to hear how she set about establishing a new culture in her organisation.
We also welcomed Dress for Success Scotland, our charity partner for the past year, and presented them with a cheque for £2592.60, the funds raised for them during the year.
